  • providing pantry upgrades, nutrition education, and kitchen hacks,

  • and, of course… cleaning up!

Why I coach and cook

Having suffered from digestive disorders for over 20 years, I know what it’s like to be put through the medical system wringer, to be passed from doctor to doctor, left with few answers and even fewer hopes.

I know how it feels to have symptoms dismissed and overlooked, not just by family and friends, but by medical professionals - the very people we turn to for support and advocacy.

I’ve been given shrugged shoulders, bullied into protocols I wasn’t comfortable with, and reprimanded for challenging doctor recommendations.

Navigating my health struggles on top of the confounding medical system caused severe anxiety and disordered eating. For years I was terrified of eating certain foods for fear of aggravating my symptoms. Amidst the anxiety and overwhelm, I lost touch with my intuition. I doubted my ability to know what’s best for me.

It took a long time to sift through medical advice, popular opinion, and social judgment, and prioritize my unique needs.

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I educate, guide, motivate, and support you to make behavioral changes that will improve your health. I provide an open, safe space to explore all aspects of your life and get yourself back into balance. I advocate for you to get the proper testing, diagnosis, treatment, and care from your medical team and help you learn to trust yourself to make the best decisions for you and your body.

Private Chef

There’s a misconception that becoming healthier requires a complete overhaul of your diet and lifestyle… overnight. The reality is, trying to change even one aspect of your life can be challenging and time consuming.

You may have been told you need to eat better. You may have already started to! However, with your busy life, it can take time before you’re able to stick to it. Or maybe you’ve been recently diagnosed with a medical condition and advised to avoid certain foods but don’t know where to start.

As a private chef, I work with clients on an individual or ongoing basis. I order the groceries, cook and prep meals, store food safely for later, explain the cooking process, and provide nutritional guidance and cooking tips. And, don’t worry, I also do the dishes afterwards!

BONUS: My background in health & nutrition allows me to tailor meals to specific dietary preferences, restrictions, and/or medical conditions. For example:

How I coach

My coaching style is collaborativewe work together to find solutions and experiment with different approaches to alter your lifestyle habits. You’ll be steering and I’ll be guiding. If agreeable to you, I may work with your doctor to compliment any treatment plan and help implement their medical recommendations. This includes customizing diets, fine-tuning exercise routines, establishing medication and supplementation, experimenting with stress-reducing modalities, and keeping you accountable to your wellness goals. 

I offer one-on-one, ongoing support for individuals or groups.
