Everyone has a story to tell; all we need are the tools and guidance to share it in compelling ways. Whatever your story or message, and whatever form it takes—books, blogs, articles, educational materials, newsletters, website copy—I’m here to help.

As a Health Coach with a history of health struggles, writing wellness content comes naturally to me. I bring sound knowledge, science-based evidence, and personal experience onto every page.

I offer three services that can be booked individually or in tandem:

writing.

I produce thoroughly crafted, edited, and researched pieces on topics of your choice.

I spend time understanding your style and tone so that I stay on your brand; my writing style is malleable to each client I work with. It has to feel authentic, original, and deeply “you.”

Whether you prefer conversational, warm, and relatable, or straightforward and informative, your message will come through loud and clear.

editing.

I proofread, revise, and refine your written work. If you prefer, I can provide suggested alterations rather than making the alterations myself. Either way, walk away with a cleaner, refined, and more impactful version of your content.

consulting.

Want to write but need support? I’ve got you!

Let me bolster your creativity, help you find your voice, and organize the pieces of your story. Count on me for writing and editing guidance, as well—format, structure, content, grammar, and flow.

Build your brand, attract more clients and fans, and position yourself as an expert in your field with polished, powerful writing.

Published Works

During the last year of her father’s life, Heather moves back in with her parents to help care for him but gets more than what she bargained for. With deep heart, sharp wit, and brutal honesty, Heather recounts her struggles to navigate the minefields in her parents' home—her father’s disease progression, her mother’s hoarding tendencies, and aggravation from combative home health aides. Caught between grief and self-preservation, thrust into a parent-child role reversal, Heather finds truth in the saying, “You can never go home again,” and must create the comfort she longs for.

“Heather has created an eye-opener for me with her book, Insatiable.”

—Jackie E

Heather brings her compassionate demeanor into her writing, which is an essential quality when writing for people with chronic pain. She has a way of balancing necessary medical facts and research with human empathy, often including her personal, relatable experiences. This makes the content feel more accessible and meaningful to the reader.

— Elan Schneider, DPT, Co-Founder, TrainPain

Heather brings the same positive demeanor, compassion and dedication to her work with clients that she does to her writing. You can tell she really cares about the quality of her relationships as much as the quality of her work.

- Annie B

Heather consistently presents professionalism in everything she does. She is organized, intelligent, a pleasure to work with, and forthright in nature.

I trust my projects with her whole-heartedly.
